"A simple no frill decorated restaurant,it is very clean. Airy, spacious and comfy seating. There are few hawkers vendor but many handled by foreign workers. Service is friendly and nice.--4* Wantan Mee--ordered their premium @$14.90/plate. The Char Siew is delicious, tender devilish gruey and tasty. The sauce that coated the noodle is balance, noodles has the right bite textures. The soup has the anchovies type of aroma, can be more savoury. The Wantan has silky skin and infilling is old school. A pinch of sesame oil flavour would had been perfect.--4.5* The YTF use the fresh water 西刀鱼,nice texture, sweet and pretty tasty. The soup is more vegetable base, it is not bad but lacks umami feel.--4* Verdict:4.25* worth a trip if you like Wantan Mee."

"Truly remarkable wanton noodle. Recommend the premium version as the char Siew has a good ratio of fat and meat and melts in your mouth. Noodles were cooked as well to perfection. Service was good as they accommodated to request to have more noodles one one plate and less on the other as my wife wanted less noodles. Strongly recommend to try this delicious wantan mee !"

"Sunday, 11am: Located inside Taman Desa Yong Tau Fu & Dessert (occupying the front entrance spot). Most ppl are there for Wing On's glassed char siu wanton mee that comes with 3 pieces of pork lard and 3x wanton in soup. The glassed char siu was good but not really melt in mouth, noodles were springy but a little too hard, wanton are in good size and good taste. This kopitiam also serve yong tau fu which tasted mediocre."

"Operation by mostly foreigners but don’t be fooled. The boss keeps a tight watch on quality. And he really knows how to make the best version of his favourite hawker fare. Today we had the har mee. Wah. Sip the first spoon of soup and you are immediately in prawn heaven. Intense sweetness from the prawns. The pork rib meat is not dry and has a good bite. Popiah also didn’t disappoint. Rolled well. Juicy yam bean filling. And the knife skill totally on point. Look at the cross section, everything is perfectly julienned. Loh pan mee also just look glistening in glory served in a ceramic blue bowl. Uncle and his team really has passion lah."
